Below you will find an explanation of what data we collect, for what purposes, how we obtain the data, what your rights are and how you can exercise them. PopsPortal respects your privacy and ensures that all your personal data is treated confidentially and carefully secured.

In our processing we comply with the requirements set by the privacy legislation. That means, among other things, that:
– we clearly state for what purposes we process personal data. We do this via this privacy statement;

PopsPortal VOF is responsible for data processing. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect and use and for what purpose.

Personal data and data processing
In order to offer you a good and personal service, we need some information from you. If you register with us, your name, (email) address and telephone number will be stored. We use the traffic data to analyze the surfing behavior of our visitors. We look at how the navigation is used, which pages are visited and which articles are ordered, so that we can improve the familiarity, functionality and content of our site (and digital newsletters).

* An IP address is an Internet Protocol address that points to a unique destination on the Internet. This may mean that in some cases it can be traced directly to the visitor's computer. This information is essential to send the pages to the correct computer via the Internet.
** A cookie is a collection of data, a registration file, that a website transfers to a computer's hard drive for storage. Although a cookie does not identify the visitor, it does identify his computer. Our website installs a cookie to analyze your surfing behavior so that we can optimally compile our website.

However, we do not have full control over what the providers of these applications themselves do with the cookies when they read them. For more information about these applications and how they deal with cookies, we refer you to the privacy statements of these parties (note: these can change regularly).

Location data
If necessary for the service, we may collect location data (GPS) from you. Your permission will be requested for this at the time itself. This (location) data can also be stored and processed by the provider of, for example, the navigation/map software, such as Google Maps, but the data can also be used by, for example, Google or Apple itself. We have no influence on this. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements of the relevant provider.
